The bicycle of a great champion, Marco Pantani, designed and built by the Carrera workshop of Davide Boifava. The Corsair model has all the performance required by a great climber. It is light. Has stiffness at all the right places. Built in compliance for a smooth and comfortable ride and has aerodynamic features to create efficiency and a bicycle that feels like it pedals itself

The frame is monocoque with material coming from the prestigious Japanese company Toray. The high resistance T40 tubes are finished with 3K carbon. Headset is tapered and bottom bracket is threaded.

Carrera Diavolo is carbon frame built in tube to tube construction. Made in Italy these frames have individual tubes, carefully cut and mitered and then bonded. The joints are then wrapped in carbon fiber strips. Diavolo uses top tube and down tube in “I Beam” shape for increase in torsion stiffness and to lighten the frame. The frame has tinted carbon with red tint in the clear coat for a luxurious finish. Full carbon fork is by Mizuno.
